We’ve had a good crop from our Choko vine once again. Here
in Australia the vine usually can be found in most older backyards and people
generally tend to give you their Choko’s because the vine gives a good crop. It’s one of those type of vegetables the older generation
would tell you how to cook them.
Mum does them in a variety of ways. Mostly baked or steamed.
They are a bit like squash in taste.
Last year we made a pickled relish from the crop. This year
it is just baked or steamed variety. If you have a ever lasting supply of
