Blue wings

Lately the weather isn't the type to make you want to be outdoors. There's been some rain and storms about and the mornings have been pea soup thick fog. Not very summer like at all. Having rain is thankful because it means we aren't experiencing the heat. Although there is a lot of mugginess in the air.
While it has been raining I have been making cards to send off in the mail. I created some 'glass winged' butterflies to use as toppers for card decoration. If you google, you'll learn a lot about 'glass winged' butterflies. Like all butterflies I think they are pretty. Below is my video for creating the butterflies. They are very easy.

Materials to make the glass winged butterfly:
Acetate ( I recycle the acetate from packaging).
Tsukineko Ink. Dew Drop: Paris Dusk
Stazon ink: Jet Black.
Glue.
Butterfly stamp.

I hope everyone is having a good day or evening where ever they are.

  2. We have had some interesting fogs in Newcastle coming off the sea - very eerie. Not summery at all.
That butterfly video was well done too.

    1. Phil,
Every time I see fog like we have been having I think of that movie The Fog. But I do like this type of weather.
